Hoping to get a jump start on the painting video I promised to display on my website next week, I ended up spending all day editing and refining many of the pages for ease of clarity since I can’t be with you to explain details or answer questions. This material was part of a presentation packet I had used some years ago during my painting workshop days that was well received by painters. I thought I’d be smart and save time by taping one of the presentations on screen with my new camera today. Still green at the gills using this complex piece of equipment and being foreign to the video editing program I have, I was again faced with learning curves everywhere I turned!
I guess at this point, I feel the need to forewarn you. The fonts may not be as sharp as I was hoping for but the fundamental materials and messages should be well understood as I plow through my learning period. I also think now is a good time to tell you, I am one of those people that jump in the middle of the ocean in hopes I can learn how to swim back to shore. At this point, I am still optimistic my web designer will be able to give me some helpful hints and tips when I talk with her. Now being after 8:30pm on a Friday, I don’t think I will be hearing from her this week. So until then, I will give it a go with the understanding I may need a total makeover after her call…..that ol’ “Repeat to remember and remember to repeat” keeps ringing in my ears as there may be trouble brewing in my attempt(s), with a capitol “S”, at posting this video!
